Team 8 Jessica's Rabbits Bios and Info

Hi Team,

I just wanted to say GOOD LUCK to all of our teammates who are headed to WDW this weekend for the Minnie races.

Just wanted to get that in before the early birds leave.

Good morning, all you fuzzy bunnies !
Had a good week, and looking forward to running in the Florida sun this weekend.

Hi everyone :goodvibes :goodvibes

I had to post, yesterday I did my LR of 3.6 miles and I did it in 36ish minutes. 2 WHOLE MINUTES shorter than last week.

I guess PT is doing something, and to think that crossing training was a bunch of crap :lmao:

Hi Team,

My numbers from April 26-30:
Hours 3.77
Miles 16.6

(Total for April 19-30 - hours 7.13, miles 35.0)

Everything is going well here. This week I started my training for a 10K in July.

My numbers for the last week and a half.....

Hours: 6.3
Miles: 43.5

I'm off to WDW early tomorrow morning :earsgirl: :mickeybar

Looking forward to seeing many of you there.

Safe travels everyone!

Kathy

Thanks for the numbers everyone. As always the whole crewe just keeps producing consistent results.

I'm envious of you all leaving tomorrow. Somebody had the gall to schedule a teaching session for me from 10 am to noon tomorrow, and the first flight I could get on is 3 pm, puting me in MCO around 6. Sigh, it would have been so nice to be on the same 7:30 am flight as Martha.

I'll see many of you Saturday, and early Sunday for the good part.

Craig

Quick post of my miles, very late... I'm on vacation in SC and will be at WDW on Friday! See some of you there!

April 17-23:

7 hours
48 miles

Take good care, Rabbits!

Teri

Quick post of my numbers for 4/26 - 4/30:

Hours 3.3

Just about done packing. Have a 7p flight out tomorrow. Have village coming to replace my water meter otherwise I'd also have been on much earlier flight.

Safe travels to everyone going to Minnie and look forward to meeting as many WISHers as possible!!

Have a great weekend team!!

Good Evening Bunnies !!

Like many of Y'all, I can't wait to get to WDW again..
Unfortunately I won't be getting in till late Friday, and going direct to the MK to meet Liz for our 3rd Pirate and Princess Party !!
Make sure all you early birds save some Disney MAGIC for the rest of us !

Looking forward to meeting a gaggle of new friends this weekend,

Patrick

Oh, yeah.. The MILES...

20.11 Miles
2.92 Hours

And oddly, had more run miles than bike miles for a change.

Hi everyone, sorry for the delay.

Things are kind of crazy for me, my youngest turned 5 this past week and I found a lump in my breast.........SOOOOOO I had to had some testing done. Things look OK, but I have to wait for the official word on Wen from my surgeon. Anyway, that explains why my stuff is off :goodvibes

Miles - 13.7
Time - 249 minutes (includes PT for my neck too)

PS I got my SIL to exercise, but it took an hour to do 3 miles --- but hey she did something :)

Hopefully things will be back to normal for me, soon

Hi guys! Got back from WDW early yesterday am - here are my numbers:

Week ENDING April 25th --
Miles 10.0
Time: 3.0 hours

Last Week:
12.0 miles ( did the 5k in there )
time: 4.30 hours

This week my numbers will be very low -- as Monday, Tuesday didn't do anything (resting from WDW!) tonight i will try to at least go out for a walk, and then get back to a run tomorrow -

Got to meet some fellow bunnies this weekend!! (HI Amy and Scott!!) It was so great to meet them, it's nice to put faces with photos/people that you are chatting with for so long!

I also offically signed up for my first 1/2!!!! The Disney Princess 1/2 in March -- i am scared out of my mind -- and have NO IDEA where / how to start my training -- i have been reading and reading, and it's overwhelming --- any advice?? Right now, i am only logging in about 10 miles of running per week -- and all the plans i see for training for a 1/2 say that you should be logging in at least 15 per week -- so being that i have 10 mo. to train, should i spend a couple months bringing myself to the 15 per week goal? Then start a 1/2 plan?? I am just so confused.. but I WANT THAT MEDAL. ;) LOL

Numbers for May 1-7

Hours: 4.78
Miles: 21.7

I am loving reading about all the Minnie experiences--keep them coming!

My training is going well!

Today I had the lump removed in my breast (everything appears to be fine, thank goddness:goodvibes ), so I can't run till after I get the stiches out next Thur. (hoping I can run Thur night) which will explain my lack of running. Also my last day of PT is Monday, so the extra 6 miles and 3 hours are gone too. Boy, nothing like cutting everthing off :lmao:

Miles - 13.2
Minutes - 75

Sorry but good news there Swim-Mom. Glad you're better.

I have the April and May numbers up to here. We're missing some number for the end of April from the usual suspects, so if you have that late April mileage and time, plus May 1 to 7, please send it to me.

I'm really up against it right now with ungraded exams, and I suspect many others are as well, after seeing so many of us find time to get away last weekend.

It was a blast. Too, too bad they are eliminating the race. 15K is such a nice distance. I'm so glad I was there for the last one.

Craig

Swim-Mom...phew. I'm so glad that everything appears fine. Sorry Imissed the post that you were having surgery.

Craig; I owe you some numbers. Let me get thru my spreadsheet and update it lol. It was great meeting you...and awesome to run together for a bit. I sure wish I could have hung with you!!!

OK...will be back with some numbers Craig. Sorry for the delay!

My numbers:

April 19-April 25: Miles = 32; Hours = 9.6

April 26 - April 30: Miles = 8.7; Hours = 6.75

May 1 - May 7: Miles = 34.8; Hours = 4

Swim-mom - So glad to hear you're ok!

Craig & Amy - was so great to meet you both. Heck it was great to meet everyone but love that there was such a strong Rabbit showing.

My numbers for May 1-7:
26 miles
205 minutes

Craig - let me know if you need a hand with the sheets over next few weeks.

Happy mother's day!! I've been trying for days to post here but I keep getting pulled away. Yesterday it was the laundry, the day before it was work. So, I will really try to post here without interruption.

It was so great meeting fellow bunnies at the Minnie Marathon!! I can now put faces to names such as Amy and Scott--thanks for running with Craig for a while in the race.

We had a marvelous weekend in WDW and I truly wish I was still there. We had to leave Sunday night (work calleth) and our flight was 2 hours delayed leaving. Technically it was still Sunday when we landed but Monday morning when we arrived home. 4 hours of sleep later and it was time to go to work. When I'm that tired, I'm in a "take-no-prisoners" mood so don't make me mad. You won't like the outcome.

I did give myself Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday off before starting to workout again. Thursday friday and saturday were good workout days. I was planning to try a short run today and still might. But after a lovely champagne breakfast, well, I just don't feel too much like running. Ahhh, but Mother's Day is only once a year. I can indulge once a year can't I?

I've requested a picnic lunch and the weather, so far, is cooperating. Craig is going to grill filet mignon for dinner, which he always grills to perfection. Yummy. OK, I may have to run tomorrow instead!!

Happy Mother's Day to all of my fellow team mates! Hope your day is wonderful.

Hi, Bunnies !

Numbers for Craig: 35.3 miles (event miles already doubled) in 3 hours

Well, with all the fun of the Minnie behind us now, :-(
It's time to look forward to our next event.
Looks like that will be the Walk & Roll Chicago, 15 mile bike ride for the American Cancer Society.
Weekend after that is the Blackhawk Roads ride weekend near Rockford IL.
30 miles on Sat, 45 on Sun, rest and relaxation on Monday !
Then back into running mode for a Father's Day 8K event..
Keeping our calendar full, so we keep up on our training.

A big thanks to all Wishers at the Minnie, was great to finally meet y'all, and thanks to the terrific encouragement, I turned in 2 PR's for the weekend !

Wishing a good and fast week to all,
Patrick
