Teachers discounts for Swan/Dolphin?

Has anyone found out if Dolphin/Swan are offering any teachers discounts for 2009? We are going in May and looking for a deal. Also, can you get the Disney dinning plan at those resorts? Thanks for any info.

Rates arent out yet. And no, you cant get the DDP, even if you didnt get a discount rate

YES, they are out. I booked the teacher rate for June 09 a couple weeks ago. Just call!

Really?? My bad, they usually come out when the 09 cast member and travel agent rates come out and those arent out yet.

Yep, they are. I was surprised (in a good way) when I called to check and they were available!

what kind of rate did you get?

I got a Government rate of $189/nt at the Dolphin for 5/23/09 - 5/30-09 (Memorial Day Week). Of course, this doesn't include tax or the $10/day resort fee or the $9/day parking. With tax, fees, and parking we'll be paying $231.62 per night. You'll save $9/day if you don't drive or rent a car. Hmmm...suddenly renting DVC points doesn't seem like such a bad idea...
