I am a teacher and would love to decorate my classroom with Disney borders.. I think my students as well as myself of course, would love it. I looked around Downtown Disney last year and couldn't find anything. Does anyone know if anything even related to this exists and where I could find Disney related teacher stuff. Going again in August and plan on looking more this year. Thanks

I've never seen anything at the parks, but for the past several years DisneyShopping has had teacher clothes in the Fall catalog - usually a jumper, some type of shirt, a cardigan sweater, and maybe a few more things. I've also gotten a couple of teacher pins that are cute (at the parks.)

I don't know what you teach, but there are cute pencils shaped in music notes at the gift shop at Roch n roll roller coster. There are packs of pencils sold several places in wdw/dtd that you could as rewards.

Also check the dollar stores near you - I have found reward disney stickers, and some great boarders (I think there might have been a disney one too).

I think that is so nice of you to think of your class while you're away....

When I'm in Disney...school is the last thing I think about (actually, I don't think about it at all). Hey, it's my vacation! :)

Hi!! I don't know if you have an AC Moore near you, but they have those self-stick/easy to remove borders and characters!! The one near us has tons of them.

We are going to get them to redo DS/DD's rooms.

Are those the ones that come in the book that have the princesses and say "good work" and "beautiful"???

Just a hint with those: We bought them for our DD and she sticks stickers on every surface in the house...never a big deal. But those princess ones?? WILL NOT COME OFF. :lmao: I have been scraping them off my desk and the dishwasher. The Jasmines seem to be the stickiest. :)

They are really cute, but I wouldn't stick them on anything you would want to remove them from. She stuck one to her brother's shirt and I cannot get the glue off.

She does love when I stick them on her "papers". She sits with my older kids and does "homework" and gets a princess when they are done. :)

I teach Pre-K and I have come up with a few things to decorate with. I'm not sure what age you teach so your children may be too old. I bought Winnie the Pooh clock from Wal-Mart and our local teachers store had a matching clock border (I don't know the technical word for it but they go around your clock) that was flowers I put around. Also at Wal-Mart I got a Winnie Pooh poster that said 'love to Read' and he is reading to other characters, got it laminated and put it in the reading center. Went to Home Depot and got the Mickey Mouse paint samples and use them to mark off letters we have gone over and in the '100 days of school' calendars (just right the number right on them). Got a CD of some Disney clip art and used them as patters for Mickey Mouse Hats with children's names on them for baskets, ballon Mickey Mouse heads for class flag with their names on them. Recently found on Mouseforless.com they had alphabet sheets with coinciding characters on them..ex Ariel and Abu on the letter A writing sheet. The only thing I have bought at Disney for room is some post cards I can use on the calendar...ex christmas mickey for a generic december calendar. then anytime I see a pile of Mickey stickers by a register at Disney I will ask if I can have a few, the children love to get one the first day. I also have a few other posters I have found at differents websites that I laminate and use in my room, like a winnie pooh growth chart, Mickey saluting the flag, and I disney alphabet poster with coinciding characters, my personal favorite. Hope you can use some ides, my favorite right now is trying to think of different things I can use those MM paint chips for. :)

There is a wonderful shop at Downtown Disney (at least there use to be) by the Christmas shop and the Rain Forest Cafe. It is a scrapbook shop and it has some of the best stickers, papers, cut outs, scissors, pens, stamps, etc.

Also Archivers has a great selection. I hope that store is still there for when we go in June. I would be sick if they closed it. I have a need to spend there.
