My two oldest boys want to bring their teachers back a souvenir from DW. Between them it's a total of 6 teachers. Any ideas of something we can bring back for them that won't break the budget? (One teacher loves Disney, I wouldn't be surprised if she's somewhere on this site!)

Thanks!

As a teacher, who has Mickey as my theme for my classroom, some of the stuff I've gotten that weren't expensive are; one of the personalized pin, they have #1 teacher, a lanyard for holding my class keys around my neck, a pen, mickey mouse ice cubes (i use them as decoration around my desk), a key chain for classroom keys, a popcorn container (i use it to hold all my hand pointers), and a mug. I will try to think of more, but anything I get from my students I love! :lovestruc

I had NO idea what to get all of my kids teachers for Christmas last year. When I was at WDW, I seen the "Green" bags and knew that had to be it. I bought all of the teachers 2 bags each. My kids brought home "Thank You" cards from them all saying they loved them. So, All of their new teachers this year will be getting the "Green" bags too. Just a thought.

As a teacher, I just love ink pens, lol, and pencils too. Maybe your boys could get their teacher a cute pen or something. I know I love my RnRC one!

I'm a teacher. Most teachers drink coffee. Maybe you can get one of those big Mickey coffee assortments (the ones with I think 12 small tins) and then split them and assemble them into little gift bags with a magnet or some pens/pencils inside from WDW. You could get solid colored mugs from Walmart to pair the coffee with it to keep costs down.

They also sell (sold?) a coffee scoop that has a mickey hand at the end. I think they run about $7 each so not cheap for 6 people. I bought one for myself last time.

My dd usually brings back some sort of notepad for her teacher and the school secretary who is a huge Disney fan.

We love to get the teachers teh address book with the castle on the front. Teachers have loved it.

We always bring the teachers a Mickey Mouse rice crispy treat. They are inexpensive and really cute.

As a teacher I have gotten mugs, pens, etc from kids who have gone to Disney. Since I teach geography this year I think I will ask the student to pick out a postcard from one of the countries in EPCOT to share with the class and then post.

another teacher here...I go thru post-its like there no tomorrow...maybe post its?? I've seen a chunky post it notepad in the stores there w/ characters on it.

BTW, that's so sweet of you to get the teachers something!! :love:I totally do NOT expect gifts ever. I'm always a little sheepish about accepting them. My favorite things are notes from parents and kids. Maybe you could have them send postcards to the teachers w/ a note?

when we go to Disney my kids usually get boxes o Disney chocolates for their teachers. The chocolates are always a big hit!

I love the antena toppers. I have them on pencils in my mug on my desk...love them!!!!

The only place we saw them was in the AKL gift shop but DD found Mickey head shaped magnets that had metric conversions on them. It was perfect for her math/science teacher. I can't remember exactly how much they were but it was under $5.

We brought back my son's gifted teacher EPCOt maps for other languages.

One of my students knew that Cinderella was my favorite character. His mom bought a $1 plastic double frame (looks like two 4x6 frames attached) and she put a photo of the student posing with Cinderella on one side and a page from his autograph book, which Cinderella had autographed to me personally, on the other side! Priceless! I had that frame on my desk forever!!!

I'm a teacher and it is very nice that you child wants to do something special for his teacher.
All the ideas so far have been great, here is another. Magnets! I bought myself a few fairly inexpensive ones and I use the all the time to put notices, etc.. on the chalkboard. I also bought some to give to my fellow teacher friends.
Enjoy!
