Teacher Gifts -- with photos

I have seen a smaller version of the notepad but I love this idea.

Thanks for sharing.

I've finished 8 today.... I didn't even adhere the notebooks in.. I made them fit snuggly..and so far they haven't fallen out! LOL (of course they are sitting in a stack, so it's not like they are on the move!)...

I need to get more supplies I decided to make some for my nieces that I will give to their mom before we leave from FILs.

Susan, where did you get your scoring board? Is the the MS one from Mike's? I don't think my store has those. Shoot, maybe I can get to Smithfield on Thursday...

These look great and they are right in my price range for teacher gifts, plus the kids can help make them and pick out the patterned paper so they will love it.
However, I have to confess, I don't know what a scoring board is??

Check out this blog. I have the Marth Stewart one -- $12 at Michaels with a coupon. THe scor-pal is $40 I think. I am quite happy with mine. A scoring board helps you make straight folds that stay folded.

Yes, Martha Stweart from Michaels. It is in the aisle with her stuff, but it was hard to find. I can't remember why. I know it was on a bottom shelf. If you check out the link to the blog I posted, you'll see a photo of it.

I'll have photos up tomorrow.. DS9 is giving us grief going to bed tonight.. bone head.. I have the Elf project ready to go and the big kids are helping tonight.. and goofball won't go to sleep....

Of coarse Martha Stuart makes a scoring board now. We has a Score-Pal and it has been a life saver. Our LSS has coupon day and we used a coupon to buy it. I like how the line are closer on the Martha Stuart on tho.

Thanks, Susan, I'll look for it!

I have wanted a Scor-pal for a long time! Just couldn't stand paying so much...

I'm going to Mikes for the MS one, was there a coupon last week? I didn't get a flyer in my paper. Thanks for posting the blog review! That was very helpful!

:thumbsup2 Thanks bunches!! I'll go after work tomorrow and check for it!!

I went back and added the strip of paper to the notebooks - -it looks much better!

7/8 x 5 is the right size.

I have 26 sets complete, 11 more that just need the clasp adhered, 14 sets that are cut. I am still hoping to get finished by Dec 15 so I can start wrapping. I really like these. I think I may consider making them for the next local craft fair.

Headed to ACM tomorrow with $250 of returns - -I received my 20% off your entire purchase coupon for rewards members today, good tomorrow only. I intend to return it all and repurchase -- I bought a lot of Thomas the train stuff the week. I should get $50 + tax back -- maybe I can get another set of nesties!

I've made several sets and my kids are excited to give them to their teachers as gifts. I'll try to post some pics later. My camera isn't the greatest. Thanks for this great idea!

Wow! These are great! I will saving this thread. :D

Here are a couple that I made. One for the piano teacher and the others are for the school teachers.
