Teacher Discounts?

My husband recently switched careers in mid-stream and became a teacher. He took a $24,000 pay cut in order to teach grades 6,7, & 8 in a Jersey City charter school. Half the family thinks he's crazy, the other half thinks he's great. Of course this will seriously curtail our trips but I was wondering if there were any special teacher discounts? Our DVC membership is in conjunction with my parents and we used to rent rooms on top of the DVC dates, so we're always looking for bargains.

Teachers can stay at the Swan and Dolphin for $129 a night. They have a $99 rate for some nights until the end of 2001.
