I was looking at the recently updated Eastern Navigators on Dave's site (Thanks cm_mom!) and I cannot find when Tea with Wendy happens! I know that you must reserve tickets at Guest Services, but when are the two tea parties?

It was never in the Navigator when we sailed on the 4/17 Eastern. Make sure to go to Guest Services when you board. The tickets go quickly. I was lucky to get tickets because I waited until nighttime to ask. Make sure to ask on the afternoon that you board, the sooner the better. They usually have two "Tea with Wendy" sittings.

Recently, it seems that they have decreased the demand by not placing the announcement in the Navigator. The Tea with Wendy is on sea days, and there are 2 of them. Be sure to get tickets ASAP after boarding as they go fast. Send DH to guest services for TWW tickets, you go make Palo ressies!!!

How much does this cost?

Is it just for kids or adults too?

We are just me and DH but we love character meals, is the tea like that?

Sorry to be so clueless.

Tickets are free. This is what happens at the event. It was held in Studio Sea. All the small round tables are set up with teacups. There is a tea kettle in the middle of the table and some cookies. In comes Wendy and she sits on stage with a setting of her own. She stands and tells a story about tea and then asks for two boys to volunteer to be her "brothers". Once they all sit down, she instructs you how to serve tea properly. So someone at each table serves the tea. She instructs on how to "take tea properly". Then each table gets to go up to her table and have their picture taken by the ship photographer. These are group shots. You also have the opportunity to take pictures on your own. I'm sure it is possible to have adults go up there but no adults did on this particular seating. It was only children. The pictures came out very nice. That's it really. It doesn't last very long, about 1/2 hour or so. I'm not sure I'd classify it as a "character meal".
