TEA CUPS with ALICE

I am just wondering when the best time or chance to get to ride the tea cups with Alice or if anyone on Disboards have had the chance to do it and if you did anything out of the normal?

Best chance is to be first in line for her first M&G in the morning, odds increase if you also have a cute kid.

My best friend's kids got to do this- they were dressed as Alice and the Mad Hatter.

Best chance is first thing in the morning...or possibly her last meet of the morning.

But really, it's going to come down to luck. My daughter was dressed as Alice and we were within the first 10 guests and Alice didn't ride with anyone.

My girls had the pleasure of riding the Tea Cups with both Alice and the White Rabbit a few years ago. We were walking around the castle on our way to Fantasyland and we came across Alice and the WR exiting form backstage. They took my girls hands and walked directly to the Tea Cups. Afterwards we got pictures with them. It was amazing!!!!! Sadly those pictures have disappeared.

Not us, but we watched a young girl selected to ride with Alice. It was right after rope drop.
I think Alice was actually walking to the M&G when she passed this young lady (6ish years old?) and stopped to chat.
It probably helped that the the little one had blonde hair in an Alice hairstyle, was dressed in an Alice dress, had a charming English accent, and was actually named Alice!
The entered through the exit gate and rode together. It was amazing to see how excited that young lady was, and her parents were beaming.

It sure does. We had it happen a couple times a number of years ago and have seen it happen other times since then.

My niece and I rode the Teacups at the same time as Alice, but not in the same cup! She was with a child but we didn't see how it happened. We were already seated when she came aboard, so maybe they saved her a cup for before or after her M&G?

About a year ago on our vacation my parents were chatting after RD with a very nice photo pass photographer near the castle where Merida has her M&G. We had our pictures taken by him before DD (9) and I went to wait in line for Merida. My parents continued to chat, and then my mom came in line since we still had while for Merida to come out so DD and I could meet Alice and ride the teacups (the nice photographer told us when and where to stand). I don't do spin rides well, and that was a topic of conversation. We stood by the tea cups for about 5 minutes based on his direction. About 5 minutes later Alice and the Mad Hatter walked out. Alice went right up to my DD, and asked her by name to ride the tea cups. For me, it was one of the best moments, the magic is real.

Alice asked my daughter last year if she wanted to ride the teacups with her, and she said she wanted to go ride Barnstormer instead. Noooooo kiddo!

DS rode with Alice Mad hatter and a little girl last summer. We were the first ones in line for a second morning set and while we waited the handler and photographer talked up DS. When they came out people got in line including a little girl right behind us. We were hoping for both in a picture but Alice and Mad hatter decided they wanted to ride. the 4 of them had a great time! If I can post the pic I will it looks like a PR photo for Disney World.

It happens not guaranteed but definitely happens

We haven't been over by the teacups early, but we did see Jasmine ride the magic carpets. We watched her finishing her ride as we walked up to the carpets. If your timing is just right, and get them as they are coming out to their M&G area, they seem to ride their rides before taking their place at the m&g area. It's not a guarantee, but it does happen.
My daughter would love to ride the teacups with Alice though! We may try to make the teacups a priority in the am !

My kids rode with her first thing in the morning on my youngest's birthday last year.

We were there yesterday and walked by the tea cups and saw Alice kneeling on the ground next to a little girl, both of them watching the tea cups through the metal fence. It was precious!

My kids got to do it last summer. They were dressed as Alice and Hatter and we were there for her first meet, close to first in line, though not quite. Made for a wonderful morning.

I got to ride with Alice and Mad Hatter about 10 years ago. It was awesome!
