On DCL under rates and dates TBA is listed for 7 day Carribean summer 2005. If the Magic is going west what do you think they will post there ? Why list TBA if there will be no 7 day 2005 summer Carribean cruises to announce?

I noticed this about 6 weeks ago and reported it on the 2005 thread. They updated it and put TBA under 7 day carribean cruise and it could give the impression they will be in the carribean.

With all of the strong information coming out now about california I think it will be confirmed as that,

The May 5th annoucement confirmed by loads of people is in disneyland CL and therefore it does imply the Magic is going that way

I still hope for carribean, but its unlikly.

I think you should read these schdules as ''MAGIC'' and ''WONDER'' dates, and do not read anything else into the headings.

I think all it means is DCL doesn't want to make any mention of the rumored CA cruises until they are ready to announce and so they leave that space as it is. I agree (and of course am bias, because I live in CA and am SO hoping they come here, as I don't get to cruise nearly as often as I'd like) that what we've heard has been strong enough to suggest an announcement will be made that the Magic will come out here next summer.

they don't have any other 7 day "categories" they can list the Magic under, other than Carribean right now -- without updating their website, and tipping their hand on the announcement --- it's funny how they so want to make the announcement "their way" even though it's got to be the worst kept secret in history. LOL

Well they do have the 'special cruise' part for the different ports this summer and the 10 day Christmas cruise, but as posted, any update under thoose sections would add 'fuel' to the fire, and it seems they want to annouce their own way.

With the date of May 5th, mentioned everytime, and the WDWINFO release this week I have given up all hope of a magic carribean cruise in summer 05, and accept its 99% califronia.

What I want to know is, if they do go to California, what are they going to do with their advertising that says EVERY cruise stops at Castaway Cay! Isn't that going to be hard to do from California? ;)

LOL - very hard to do - guess they might have to say every WONDER cruise stops at CCay ;)

My TA got more "unofficial" information. She said what she heard was that there will be 3, 4 and 7 days cruises from S. Cal. for summer of 2005. She also said it wouldn't be a bargain. Hopefully it won't be much more than it was. I also hope the 7 days will be at the time we wanted to go. I was so excited, but now am looking into Cancun and Hawaii as alternatives.
