Taxis for 12 people??

We are probably going to need to take a taxi from All Star Movies to Cirque, as we will be cutting it sort of close. Will someone at ASM be able to call some taxis for me?

The problem is, there will be 12 of us!! How many will we need? I know they have the van taxis. How many do those seat? Are they more expensive than the regular car type? Can we specifically request a couple of those?

What do you guys think? I'm from a small rural area, so I don't have much taxi experience! (We've spent a lot of time in New York and London, but we always take the Subway/Tube!)

There are generally a taxi or two waiting outside the resorts, or the luggage people can call for you. It would be best to give them some sort of a heads up, especially if you need 2 taxi vans. When we used one, I think we had to wait 10-15 minutes for one to arrive.

We will have 6 people in May, how many will the taxi vans seat?

Can't remember for sure, but I think the vans hold 10 people. I would definitely give them some notice so that they can be there waiting for you if you are in a time crunch. I've always found the people at guest services to be very helpful - if you have any problems or concerns, I'd ask them. We needed a cab to MK for the early AM train tour. I spoke to them the day before and they were very helpful. Even suggested we get a cab to CR instead as the walk is quicker from there than waiting for the monorail.
