We will be having 3 kids, 2 adults and a stroller.

The plan is to have magical express take out luggage to POP and we will go directly to HS from the airport. Is this feasible? Any idea what a taxi would cost? Any recommendations on a taxi service?

It may be feasible but I wouldn't do it. I would take the ME to POP and then take a FREE bus to HS from POP.

You can check the Mears website for taxi fares but I would guess it would be somewhere around $60 from MCO to HS.

I actually put in a little legwork today and Mears is going to run $85 for the van.

I called ME and they said they wouldn't transport our luggage if we didn't take the bus???? :confused3

I just thought this would work out for us because the flight doesn't touch down till 5:20 and Fantasmic starts at 8:30. Guess it's just not in the cards :sad2:

It's great that you did some checking with both Mears and ME. Now you are more informed about options and costs.

Good luck on your trip to Disney.

There are plenty of options, NatenLogansDad. There are also town cars and rental cars, in addition to Mears and DME :teeth: and, well, Lynx but that's going to take even longer.

But OP - assuming your plane lands on time, Magical Express travel time averages 70-90 minutes from getting off the plane to getting to your resort. Get to your resort by 7, entirely reasonable. Take a cab to DHS if it appears a bus to that park just left or if the line for the bus is so long you won't get on the next bus. It's only about a five minute ride either way.

This assumes, of course, that you already have your tickets and don't mind checking in really late - and that your flight lands on time.
