Taxi to US from Disney

Does anyone know how about how much it is for the ride from Disney (POP) to Universal?
Also how much is it from MCO to Universal? Is a taxi cheaper than say bus service or another way?

I haven't used a taxi, but I've had good luck a couple of times with FL Tours.

I have been asking about transportation from MCO to PBH. Hope this helps, though i still haven't made any decisions.....LOL

a taxi can be quite expensive and can be $30 to $50 one way depending on how far away you are and like the other poster said I would use Fl tours or mears and I think mears is only $16.00 per person round trip.

Sorry, I was quoting WDW to Universal.

From the airport its $35 or more.

The last time we used a Mears shuttle is was $22 pp round trip. We did use a taxi once and it was $35 one way. We were in a cab with a meter on the way home so if you can caught in traffic it can really add up.

Where do I get a taxi from Pop to Universal...? do i make reservations or just call when we are ready to leave? Do you catch it at the resorts or the car care center? and also from Portofino bay, same thing or, or there taxis waiting for business at either hotel? I usually drive to orlando but I am flying this time and Im kinda scared being carless going to and from Dis to Uni. I am so clueless!!

Last Aug we stayed at Disney's Coronado Springs and called for a cab 407-422-2222 to go to Universals Royal Pacific Hotel. Once I called, a cab was there within minutes. I asked the driver how he got there so quickly and he said they have cabs stationed at all the hotels. The cost was $28.00 for the 4 of us plus tip.

Mears quotes a price of $16 round trip per person from Disney resorts to Universal Stuidos. I'm not sure why you were charged $22.
