We'll be there from 12-10 to 12-18 and wanted to go one day to the Premiere Outlets to shop for DD for her Christmas and b-day. I'm guessing by 12-17 the crowds in the parks will be getting higher so was thinking that day would be good and still go to the parks that night.

Is taxi easiest way to get there and back? We're staying at ASM. Want to shop at Nike, North Face and Brahmin and others. Being so close to Christmas I guess the outlets will be open earlier. Too crowded. Waste of Precious Disney time?

We could always go up to Nashville when we get back home to the Oprey Mills on a weekday, not as many stores but not using a Disney Day either.

Thoughts?

IMO total waste of Disney time. The outlets were so crowded (we went in June), it took forever to navigate thru the traffic to get there and find a parking spot. The prices were not outlet prices and really higher than sales I have found. We have Premum Outlets in Cincinnati near our home, so I don't know why I thought these would be any different. I would go to Nashville and use your Disney time to go to Disney! We went one evening after SeaWorld and it took almost an hour to get there, we were near the convention center so maybe that's why it was so crowded?

I agree that you should skip it. Definitely not worth paying for a taxi to get there. DD and I stayed at a timeshare near the outlets last year (we could walk). We took an evening to shop. Didn't find a thing to buy. The prices were not what I would call outlet pricing and we weren't all that impressed with the merchandise either. We were especially disappointed in the Disney outlet and the sunglasses store, as we felt sure we'd find some things there.

Thank you both very much!

We will 99% more than likely skip and hit either Nashville after our Disney trip or even go to Chattanooga outlets, both are about 100 miles away so originally being from TX, that isn't that far away . . . just down the road.

Disney Time is Precious and since I haven't been in several years due to kids schedules in middle & high school . . . I don't want to waste a minute.
