We're coming over from the UK for a California Christmas.
Want to go to Knotts Berry Farm during the week after Christmas.
It looks like the best deal on tickets for us is on the Knotts website - 2 adults($41 each) and 1 senior ($19.99).

But as we are staying on S Harbor Blvd, how do we get to Knotts?
Can we get a taxi cab there and back easily? Any idea how much?

The tour companies charge the same for a senior as an adult for the coach transfer.

The taxi might be more convenient if my Mother gets too tired and wants to go back to the hotel.

Any help, advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Any help or advice about taxi cabs in Anaheim would be appreciated.

Approximate cost from S Harbor Blvd to Knotts?
Is it easy to get a taxiback from Knotts?

THANKS !!

I think it was about 4-5 years ago we took a taxi from the Candy Cane Inn(on Harbor) to Knotts and it was about $25. That was a few years ago though but with taxis the price goes up and down. I would ask the hotel you're staying at what they would recommend.

Have you thought about taking the bus as it would be cheaper here is the web site and there is a trip planner
http://www.octa.net/
I think the cost is about $2.50 return
Hope this helps

We were just there and took a yellow cab. It cost 25 dollars plus a tip. Our guy gave us his cel phone number and we called him for a return trip. It was nice to not have to wait for a shuttle, so we could come back when we were tired. Print out the Knotts coupons from the site and make sure to see the Peanuts show in ice..we were surprised and impressed. If you bring or buy light up toys...bring them to Knotts for the ice show.

We visited Disneyland and Knotts last September from Australia. To get to Knotts is quite easy by public transport.

Catch the L.A Metro Bus Number 460 outside the Disney Resort on Harbour Blv. The stop is basically across the road from Macdonalds.

It cost $1.25 each way. You must have the correct money as no change is given. As you aproach Knotts you cannot miss it with the roller coasters in view. Ask the driver where to pick up the bus for the return trip, they are very helpful.

Wow - I didn't realise the public transport was so cheap! Thanks for the great tip - we were going to pay a tour company to take us to Knotts until I realised they were charging a really ridiculous inflated price!:headache:

Here's a link to the MTA #460 timetable:

Note that MTA is the L.A. County transit system, which runs this particular line from Downtown LA to Disneyland, and it happens to be the more efficient way to get to Knott's va the Orange County transit system OCTA. For other travel in the OC the OCTA is the way to go.

This is great, thanks for the bus schedule!

What other places besides Knott's can the bus get you too?

Hey if I read that correctly that would be the same bus stop to go to Medieval Times, am I correct ?

Yes, get off at the Knott's Berry Farm stop and walk a quarter mile or so north on Beach Blvd to Medieval Times.
