Taxi to Grocery Store

We're using MME to get to our resort in Dec. but would like to pick up a few grocery items once at Disney. We'll be staying at SSR. I was wondering if anyone knows what the cost of a taxi ride might be from SSR to the grocery store at the end of Hotel Plaza Blvd.

If it were me, I would just walk. It is about a mile, and a rather pleasant walk with good sidewalks and good crosswalks. The taxi would be a minimum of $7.00 each way, plus tip and would eat up all of your savings. Goodings is rather expensive, so if you really don't want to walk, then buying your sundries at the SSR store will be about the same price with the taxi ride to Goodings.

There is also a service called wegoshop.com that will purchase your groceries for you at any Orlando store you wish and even with the delivery charge will likely be less than even walking to Goodings.

Thanks! I'll look into wegoshop.com. I would use our DVC grocery list and grocery service, but we prefer some brands that aren't usually sold on Disney property.
