I KNOW this has been posted before. But I've just spent 30 minutes using the Search Engine for the DIS and I can't find it anywhere!!

We're staying at ASMo and we need to get to The Shrine for Mass. Are there Taxis AT ASMo or will we need to call one? If we have to call one, how far in advance should we call? Mass is at 7:30am on Sunday morning. Also, once we are at the Shrine, we'll only be there about an hour. Will we have to call another cab to get us back? (I know, I should know this stuff. But we rarely use cabs for anything!) Finally, approximately how much would the fare be round trip for three people? Thanks for any info--I have a cab deficiency!!

I wish I were gonna be there the same time as you all are, because I would just give you a ride!!!! I think you can make arranegements with the cab driver that takes you there about a return trip.

Wasn't it nice when you could just go to mass in the Luau Cove at the Polynesian? My kids just loved that!!!

there are typically cabs at the resort in the morning. However you could arrange for a cab to pick you up at a specific time by calling from the bell desk outside the reception hall door.
The Taxi should be around $20 each way. You could arrange with the first driver to pick you up, or could have him call dispatch to make a reservation for your return to the resort.
Driving time should be 15 to 20 minutes each way on Sunday morning. :thumbsup2

THAT was SO NICE!!! I miss those days. Mass was SO beautiful there, outside in the air and the morning just getting started. The times we went it was ALWAYS full too. And that place is HUGE!!!

$40 is kinda steep--we're there for 2 Sundays, so that's kind of a lot. I know, I know, money shouldn't matter. I wonder if they have Mass on one of the local channels?? I guess we could always take our Bibles and do the readings for the day. I don't know what to do.

cdntourguide: Thanks for the info  :cool1:
