Probably Publiks, I would guess a $10-$12 cab each way.

across the street at the HESS STATION YOU CAN GET BEER and some foods. you can walk there. We used a small suitcase with wheels to load beer and wine and food back.

over the past 4 or 5 years the prices for beer in the disney resort stores has gotten so insane that it makes gas station prices at Hess look great.

I remember when you could buy bottles of bass at the wlv mercantile for 2.50 a bottle. An easy way to grab a cold one on vacation. Now cheap beer costs over twice that.

Oh wait, here is a crazy idea. But it might work. Sometimes on places like mousesavers you can find a lot of codes for rental cars. You might be able to get a one-day rental from the dolphin pick-up station for basically what a cab ride would be, and just drop it back off at the dolphin, then your time would be your own.

Dollar Rental Car located at Regal Sun Downtown Disney has great rates and will do free pick-ups and return to your resort.

If you go to this web site, they will pick up and deliver alcohol for you from a store of you choice (you pay regular store pricing) and it's cheaper than renting car or cab. Plus you are not wasting vacation time shopping.

If you're not buying too much, we've taken the bus to Downtown Disney and walked (through the Hotel Plaza) to Goodings in the Crossroads Shopping Center.

Yes 2 Hess stations near resorts.

The Hess by BWV is a longer walk than the one near DTD. At DTD you can cut thru the parking lot

Also with DTD you can ride a bus or boat back to any resort
