Taxi question

We have decided not to rent a car for our upcoming trip to Universal and Sea World. I am trying to decide between a car service and a taxi from the airport.

I have used the cab fare estimator and it seems a lot less expensive than the car service (I doubt that we'll need a grocery stop).

My question, though... Do both charge the same for 5 people vs. 1? There are five of us - do I need to multiply the costs by 5?

Taxi service charge is for all the people in the car. 4 passengers for a sedan and 7 passengers for a van. If you are 5 you will probably want a van. Mears taxis are on all the taxi stands at Disney. Actually the taxi service is a better deal because Mears taxi are metered and there are taxis at US and SW that you can return whatever time you decide to leave the parks. With a car service you have to set a time with the driver to return and you might find it hard to make the return time.
