Taxi question

We have an early morning character breakfast planned at Paradise Pier. It looks like quite a walk from the Sheraton (with kids), so I think a taxi may be our best option. Does anyone know how much the taxi might cost? Will we need to call for the taxi or will there be a few waiting at the hotel? Are there any other options? Thanks!

I doubt the Sheraton will have any waiting right there but they can certainly call one for you. There always lots of cabs in the area nearby . Just call down to the lobby before you want one and ask them to call one for you. I would say once they call a cab should be to your hotel within 10 minutes. We took a cab from the Tropicana to the Disneyland Hotel for dinner one night. It was about $7.00 plus tip. I would imagine it will be about the same from the Sheraton to PP. And you are right, that would be a long walk. The other option would be to take your hotel shuttle to Disneyland, and walk up Downtown Disney to the Paradise Pier Hotel. Once you are off the shuttle it will take you about 20 minutes to get through security (even though you aren't entering the park you will need to go through security) and then walk to PP. But for early morning I think a cab would be much easier!
