Taxi or shuttle - offsite hotel

dh has a conf coming up at Gaylord Palms. Apparently they have a shuttle svc (though they won't send me any info'n on it until we check in) Does anyone have experience w/ their bus svc? I'm assuming in the case of MK it drops off at the TTC not up front where the Disney Resort busses are??? We'll only be doing the park a couple of days from that hotel, than transferring to Disney Property so maybe we'll just avoid MK from GP.

my other question is, if we do a special ticket event any idea how easy it is to get a taxi from MK between 10-midnight to return to an off-site hotel???

This will be my first time staying at an off-site hotel when we aren't renting a car. But it just doesn't make sense for this trip.

You are correct that any kind of outside bus, taxi, or car service will drop you off at the TTC. Only Disney buses drop you off at the MK entrance.
I don't think you can get a taxi at the MK, probably at the TTC. It would be easiest to walk to the CR and take a taxi from there. All the Disney resorts have taxis available at their main entrance. Not sure about the theme parks.
