Hi Everyone, I was just wondering if anyone has taken a cab or limo from their home to Pearson Airport in Toronto? If so how was your expereince? What company did you use and, if you don't mind, how much did it cost?

We are a party of seven, heading to the world in Jan and we need to be at the airport for about 4:30am!!! We live in Brampton, so not too far to the airport.

Any thoughts on the best way to get there and the least costly?

Thanks, Suz

We always book an AIRPORT LIMO to Pearson. We pay about $45 from north-west Mississauga. On the way home, we just head outside and grab a cab home. I've booked a week ahead and abouit 2 days ahead. They have always been on time. S

Limo all the way - from downtown it's ~50 bucks + tip. Alot more comfortable and very reliable - Airline limo.

Thank you guys. Great tips!

Can anyone tell me if these cabs or limos will hold seven of us and do they use booster seats for pre-schoolers?

Thanks, Suz

We have always used Aerofleet. They are always on time (once we had to be at the airport at 4:30am) and the driver always helps with the luggage. They have Government approved flat rates. Look on their website under rates to find a map that shows how much it is from your area.

Thanks for the info MaryannF. I could not access the site for some reason, but I will try it later. It sounds like a good option.

The regular towncar limo's won't hold 7 people - you will need a stretch for that.

Traffic law's in Toronto consider a taxi/limo public transportation (like a bus) and a child carseat is not required - my wife is a stickler for this and made me call the Toronto Police to verify...we didn't want to take a baby seat to Cuba but still needed to get the airport some how. For us, having a car pick us up @ 4:30am, we thought it was relatively safe as there are minimal cars on the Hwy then.

Cheers.
