Taxi from WDW to US

Hey everyone! We are going on a couples trip to WDW in Oct and the husbands want to take a day and go to US. Anyone know how long and drive and how much it would cost to take a taxi from WDW to US?

Bump. I am looking for this answer as well. Does anyone know an approx. cost of a taxi ride one way or if its just cheaper to rent a car for a day?

I have a phone number for a taxi co, can I post it here? Anyway, I called to get a price from Nick hotel to SeaWorld about 12 miles I believe and was quoted $16 for 5 people one way. Hope that helps. I do believe US is closer so should be cheaper.

Great info! I think I will give Mears a call. I just figured that many people have made the journey from WDW to US and that we could get a general idea of a cost.
