Taxi from park to hotel?

Can you get a taxi or other private car to take you from the park to the hotel? can such vehicles get close to the parks?

To all parks but the Magic Kingdom, taxis or limos can get pretty close. For the Magic Kingdom, have them drop you at the Contemporary Resort, which is about as close to the park gates as one can get. It's less than a 10 minute walk to the MK.

The OP was asking about park to hotel, so for the MK, the guest would walk to the CR or monorail/boat to the TTC to get a cab to a hotel.

It's fine, SteveMouse. The reverse is true as well: cabs available at all parks - visible outside DHS and AK, inside the closest bus loop at Epcot - except at Magic Kingdom they're understandably at the TTC.
