Taxi from Boardwalk to POR

We will be hanging out at the Boardwalk eating dinner and taking in the ambiance and doing some shopping. That being said, I'd really not like to take a bus from the Boardwalk to a park and transfer to our resort, POR. Plus, the buses at the parks may not be running that late. Does anyone have any idea what an average ballpark cost for a taxi from Boardwalk to POR would be? Thanks!

BW and POR are pretty close, so I'd guess the rate won't be high, but $25 plus tip will get you almost anywhere in WDW. Mears (and their subsidiaries) are the only taxis allowed to pick up folks in WDW. When you finish at the BW, head back to the lobby. Exit through the main entrance and the taxis are usually waiting just past the valet station to the left.
