taxi from airport?

We only need transportation from the airport to our resort. Not sure what resort we will be staying in but it will be on property. Is it more economical to get a taxi for a 1 way trip (2 adults and 2 children) or should we rent a town car service? Don't think we will try to ME.

If you are not planning on driving to any othr place outside of Disney, I would give the ME a try. Check out the other threads. ME is getting more and more positive responses.

It will be at least $50 before the tip. You might want to try ME. Why don't you want to use it?

Town car is nice. You will get a nice car and driver and more personal service. Taxi is the fastest, pick up your luggage and go. Each is about 50 bucks probably.

I am nervous about using it because we will be getting into the airport around 9:00 pm. I will be alone with my two children. We will be meeting my husband down there. I just want the quickest way to get to the resort. Right now the ME sounds like we might have to wait in lines and wait for buses, etc...
I think ME is a great idea. Just traveling with two kids at that time at night after they have been in school all day then flying down to Orlando etc.. You get the picture.

I am not a big fan of using a taxi. I feel much safer riding on a Disney bus. I am sure it will go smoothly if you decide to use it.
