Taxi for 6 to cable beach?

Would we have to take 2 taxis,or are there larger bus type ones?How much of a hassle is the public bus? and does anyone know cost of jetskis and how old you have to be to rent?

I'm interested in this too.

We are planning on a cable beach trip and there are 6 adults.

I read on one of these threads that there is a bus that can take you there.

You have to go to the main street, take a right and go passed the Haagan Daz (sp) ice cream and the buses are right near there.

The public busses are smaller than a school bus, bigger than a van. They cost around $1 -$2 each way (it may have gone up, I haven't been there in a couple of years). Just tell the driver you are going to Cable Beach and they'll get you on the right bus. It is quick and easy and a nice way to see a bit of island life. When you are ready to leave, just go out to the sidewalk in front of the hotel. All the busses going by go right back to Bay St near the dock. Have a great time!
