Taxi Fare Prices for St. Thomas/St. Maartin

We are going on the Magic 7 day eastern in october 2005. We will have 6 or 7 in our party. On st. thomas we plan to go to magens beach and on st. maartin go to the butterfly farm and shopping near the ship. Does anyone know how much taxi fare should cost from the ship to these places each way. has anyone been to these places that could tell me how they enjoyed them? our kids are 3, 6, 8, 12 years old....

Hi, have done the Magen's bay this past Sept.. it was 6$ per person each way in a taxi.. Tried others, this was the going rate....Do not know in St. Martin...

Kids,2,4,5,7,8 ANd they all loved it....
