Taxi Costs

We are heading to the World in January & will not have a rental car this time. We will be wanting to use a taxi 1 or 2 times to get from AKL to other resorts for meals. Any idea on costs between resorts?

Also, we will have our 3 year old with us. Do the taxis have car seats available or can we just not use them because there would be no car seat?

Welcome to the DIS! As for part one of your question, figure on about $12-15 each way plus tip.

I am not sure about the resorts, but when we were in Epcot a woman wanted to take a taxi back to the AKL and she was told it would cost around $17.00 so that can at least give you an idea if you are going to an Epcot resort, it would probably be about the same to go to a MK resort.

The valet can call for a cab with a car seat. Bring a blanket or something to put over it, the ones I've seen in cabs are pretty skanky.
