Taxi and kids at airport

we are thinking about using a taxi at the airport to resort.

We have a 4 yr old. He needs a car seat

How do they handle that?

Some taxi drivers will be prepared with car seats with them.

You may pass up the first cab in the line and take the next one -- or the third one -- etc. for such reasons as need of a child seat or not being of the brand you want. Some "experts" on these boards recommend only Yellow or Checker or Mears labeled taxis.
