Tax rate on food

Does anyone know the tax rate for food items? I am trying to decide if we want to add QSDP or not. Thanks for any info.

I do believe you can look in the sticky tread that deals with tips and taxes. The info should be there.

6.5%. The tax is already included in the cost of the dining plans.

6.5% at most places. The value resorts are in a separate tax jurisdiction, and charge 7% sales tax.

As noted, the dining plan prices include all sales taxes.

Thanks for the information. I was trying to determine how much we would spend if not on the QSDP. I am not sure that the QSDP would save any money for my family.
