Tax rate change

Heads up! The All Star Resorts will be charging 7.5% starting the first of January. And that rate will apply even if you have a reservation now and decide to change it. They will also adjust your rate up at check in if you booked on November 23 or later.

Sounds like a new sales tax rate was voted in so it's not surprising as Disney has to submit taxes to the authorities in real money.

No. The resorts are not all in the same county.

That should read before November 23 not later. Reservations made after that date had the updated county tax rate applied to them.

All Stars is Osceola County, the rest of the resorts are in Orange County.
