I have a question for those of you who get to claim the student loan interest deduction on your taxes.
Do you actually have to submit the 1098-E form (interest statement) with your return? I haven't gotten mine yet, but I was able to get the exact amount of my interest paid when I called the US Dpt of Ed.
I can't remember if I had to submit the form along with it last year or not!

I'm ready to go ahead and send in my returns but wasn't sure if I should wait for that form or not.
