I read about a fantastic new tattoo service available here in Ireland. They can now give tattoos to babies as young as 2 days old!! It's so cool.
Up to now, a baby's skin was too sensitive for tattoo ink but they've now been able to add a special chemical to the ink to prevent allergic reaction.
For my friend's baby shower I'm thinking a voucher for this tattoo service would be fantastic. She and her husband are really into tattoos and they have tons of them all over their bodies. It seems a shame that their new child wouldn't have some too. So I just need ideas for what kind of tattoo would suit her baby.
I know she's having a girl so I was thinking of a Disney princess or just the word 'MOM'? Any ideas? Hopefully I'll make it a tradition and give her a tattoo voucher each year for her birthday. So she'll have 5 tattoos by the time she's 5. Aw.
I just hope the baby stays still when it's being done. Babies can be so annoying when they get all wriggly. I don't want to waste my money on a tattoo for a baby who won't stay still.
