Will Disney hire people with tattoos. I have tattoos on my left forearm, and the back of both my legs. Everything can be covered with a long sleeve shirt, and pants. I don't have any tattoos on my neck, hands, ect.

i can tell you from what i have read that yes they will hire you but it has to be covered. So i guess if you work in the park they will have to give u a job that would cover all the tattoos such as being a character.

that is true!
as long as they can be covered, you are fine. i knew people who had tattoos on their arms and legs, and they were fine! as long as they can be covered without showing...i have a tattoo also, but it is not visible, and i had no problems :thumbsup2

Yes, in most roles Disney will bring you on board with tattoos, but if your costume is not able to completely cover them, you will have to use makeup (Disney recommends stage/performance makeup like Dermablend) at your own cost to cover them. As long as you can cover them, they're not a problem!

Sweet, Thanks guys. I finally have the answer i've been searching the internet for.

Yeah... have fun wearing pants & long sleeves. Or doing the makeup thing. lol. A girl I knew when I was down there had one on her foot & had to cover it with a bandaid everyday. (She was in Guest Services & had to wear heels.) But you should be fine.

& yay! Another person from NC! :goodvibes

They will hire you if you have tattoos. As long as they are covered up.
Its best to let them know about it so hey make sure they put you somewhere that will have a costume.
Like for example, if you have a tattoo on your leg they wouldnt put you somewhere you would have to wear shorts.

But then again, my friend is a lifeguard there and got a tattoo on her wrist after she started there.
As long as she covers it up she is fine.
Like with a band-aid or really good makeup.

Awesome, thanks guys. I understand their concerns with image and everything, but i really hate to cover up my tattoos. I love the artwork on my skin, and love showing it off, which is exactly why i got them where everyone can see. I wouldn't mind being a character. That sounds like fun, even if it is very hot.
