It looks awesome but HOLY CRAP this one hurt. No idea why it did moreso than the one on my calf. But not that big a deal. While he was working on it, I was texting and DIS'ing at the same time. Took three hours. I'll need to go back from three more hours and then I'll show you guys the final product.

In the meantime, it looks pretty amazing. Very detailed.

If it was over a "shallow" area (with bone close to the surface), it would hurt more.
 
A few things I have learned about tattoos from mine:

1. White hurts really bad (made with a garlic extract)
2. Tattooing over an old tattoo hurts more then a new one.
3. Tattooing on a bone or extremity hurts more then the core or padded area.
4. Synthetic inks hurt more than organic.
