Tattoo parlours in Paris?

I know completley random...

But looking to get a tattoo in Paris because im just strange

Anyone know any places in Paris to get one, am googling but not having much luck.

Also anyone know how much they cost, i only want a little on the inside of my foot. I know it might be cheaper to get one over here but im really liking the idea of getting one over there.

Not sure about places in Paris, but a tattoo on the inside of your foot... do you mean on the sole or on the inner side of your foot? The sole would be agony! Well, anywhere on the foot is painful, so I've heard, I've only got them on my arm and back so no help there...

Will be interesting to see replies to this thread as myself and Disneyfoo will be going to Paris before our trip to DLRP this year!

Slightly OT but I have mouse ears plus the word Disney in an arc (in the Disney font) on my hip - I only have to look at them to feel happy.

My friend has Mickeys sorcerers hat on the top of her arm.

I was going to get the inside of my foot lol, i already have 2 so im excepting pain of any sort lol cant be as painful as giving birth lol.

Found a place called all tattoo at 16 rue Paris..god knows where that is lol

I know you mentioned you already have tattoos so you know what you are in for pain wise . . . .but something you may not have thought of . . .

are you sure you want to get a tattoo while you are on holiday?

Since they do tend to "weep" and are more prone to infection when first done, do you want to be walking around all day on your feet having just had this done? And then if it were to get infected/irritated having to deal with that?

On the other hand, I do understand having the experience "marked" on you. Would you get something Disney related?

I was just going to get my daughters name tattoo on my foot lol nothing major and sadly nothing Disney.

I thought about getting one while being away and it cant be as bad as having one done a few hours before i travelled 4-5 hours in a train to Middlesborough (it was sore but i survived)

If the tattoo place looks dodgy then i wont be getting one done ...im just thinking its something do on the 2nd day as "mr ex disneyman" doesnt want to spend 2 days in the park and thought of getting tattoos sounded....erm romantic

I can see your point of using it as a reminder of the occassion but if you already have tattoos you know what a good tattoo is like. I wouldn't personally pick somewhere for a tattoo having not seen their work or had a good look round before hand. If you really want to mark your time in Paris why not go up to Montmartre and have a caricature done or a silhouette?

Montmarte is where you'll find the Sacre Coeur, near Gare du Nord train station. Its also where Amelie was filmed. If you get to see the film before you go its wonderful following the trail to the see all the places! you'll be able to get a caricature done in the main square which is FILLED with artist - its amazing!

You need to get the metro to Anvers and then walk up the hill and steps to Sacre Coeur (Cant miss it its a massive white Church) then go behind it where you will find Montmatre. The main square where all the artists are is Place du Tertre

I shall speak to "mr ex disneyman" about going here, sounds lovely though and he likes artsy things so maybe we can do this instead and ill just get a tattoo back here.

If you read my latest trip report (first visit to Paris as we had 2 - think its part 3a) you will see we visited Montmatre and there is info about a restaurant we visited as well

It is really lovely up there - I always go into the Sacre Cour and light a candle for loved ones no longer with us. Lots of pavement cafes - lots of artists and lots of nice shops in the surrounding streets.
