Tasting Classes - Sign up before the cruise?

The last time we were on a Disney Cruise we had to wait until onboard to sign up for tasting classes (mixology etc.) Is it still the same or can you sign up when you do your online check in. Thanks and Cheers.

You can sign up for any that are available online, but from what I understand many classes are held back to be booked on board. So yes to both

I just did our online check-in and they only had one each of a Mixology, Stem to Stern Wine, Beer, Rum, and Martini. One each day excluding embarkation day and last full day of cruise. So there must be many available to book only on board.

I like to participate in at least one tasting during a cruise. I noticed for my sail date the tastings are sold out. I hope they will have some classes available once I get on board.

On our sail date all the online tastings are sold out, does anyone know how many they make available to book on board?

We booked a couple before our August cruise, but the mixology offered to pre-book didn't work with our schedule. So we went to La Piazza on embarkation day and they had two to three additional offerings for most of the tastings. We were able to book mixology then.
