Its now off the referb list... whats going on did they fix it already has anyone heard, cause apparently there were issues inside the trunk of the tree which made the draw bridge and other features unsafe for exploration on the whole tree. Disney was thinking it would be closed indefinately until they figure out how to fix it.

I am in Disneyland at the moment and it is closed, do not know why, but it is still closed.

Ok hmmmm yeah im a bit confused cause I looked at the referb list on disneyland.com and it says it should be down right now which is why it is for you, but im wondering for later.... Maybe they got something worked out. I would think they would keep it on the list for upcoming months if they were gonna keep it closed.

There are some structural problems with the tree that were discovered. Many people think it is linked to the work being done on the outside of Indiana Jones. If so, all should be well by late May.

You can't always trust the Disney calendar. Right now it doesn't show the island being closed or the Mark Twain riverboat being refurbed. I know they are both still down.

Hmmmm yeah ok well thats a very logical explination definately thanks!

But yeah like others said you never can trust the schedual. Thanks guys I was just curious.

That was the word until recently. Now it is scheduled to re-open on May 18, coincidentally the same day that Indy FP is supposed to come back. Hence the guessing that the two are linked as they are adjacent.
