Tarnished silver

What can I use to polish tarnished silver? Any home made remedy suggestions?

You can buy the silver polish anywhere, grocery store, walmart, etc. I know some people that have tried baking soda and ruined their silver doing that. I did read that once you polish it to keep it in a heavy duty ziplock bag to keep it from tarnishing.

The best silver polish is Twinkle. The Wright's Silver Cream is also a favorite of mine. Unfortunately, none of the "easy" dip methods will do anything but eventually ruin your silver. Get some polish, find something good on TV, and rub away. There's nothing more rewarding than polishing really tarnished silver -it's the best instant gratification I've found!!
