Target - when do they go to 75% off?

I always buy all my Christmas "things" (paper, bags, boxes etc) during the 90% off at Target. It varies every year. I know last year it was around Jan 2nd when they marked everything to 90%. Everything is 50% here in B'ham right now. I'll keep you updated on my area...and if I find out anything new.

Just saw this on another website:

"According to last years posts; markdowns for Target would go 75% off between the 28th & the 30th ( depending on your area ) & on approx. 1/1 or 1/2/2010 90% off unless they have changed the # of days between markdowns."

1/28 = went to my Target this afternoon and everything is still 50% off. And my store had a ton of stuff (it's new and this is it's first Christmas). Martinsburg, WV.

I finally made it to Target today expecting to not find anything left but they had a ton of Christmas stuff left! It honestly looked like it had barely been touched. I was able to get some things at 50% off, but of course the Lindt and Ghirardelli candy was only $30 off. At this rate, mine should have a lot left when they go to 75% off....whenever that may be!

At our store, Christmas went 75% off today. Christmas candy is still at 50% though.

At our store, everything is 50% off still and they didn't have much left. I think a lot of people went the day after Christmas and stocked up on the 50% off items. Why don't they all wait for 75% off??? Refuse to buy until it's on sale for 75% off. I tried scanning a couple candles that were there and they were still $4.75 with the 50% off - come on, $9.50 for a ginger bread man candle that I will probably never burn? My dd11 likes them, so I was going to buy her one but not at that price. That's about the only thing that I will go back for if they offer a higher discount. The rest is already picked over.

Ours was also 50% today. I did get a couple of Thomas the Train things because I didn't think they'd be there at 75% off. DS is really into that, so I'll use them for when we go out to eat today to entertain him.
