Target Toys 75% off

Target finally marked a lot of their toys 75% off this morning. I got the following deals:

Disney Princess Castle $8.74
Lion King set of 3 stuffed animals $3.74
Disney Neopets (lion king & little mermaid) $3.24 each
Bratz (Wintertime Wonderland) $7.48
2ft. Bratz $19.86
Disney Ariel Bath Set (with doll) $1.98

Bratz Runway Disco $24.98
Mega Play Castle $17.48
My Scene Dolls $3.48

These are just some of the great things they had. Ended up spending $263 for over $1,000.00 worth of stuff. My daughter's birthday is in 2 weeks and she is going to be very happy. Also bought for all of their upcoming parties that they are invited to and Easter.

They also had just marked down the men's section, lots of sweaters under $5.00 and leather coats for $25.00.

I live on Long Island my Targets ALWAYS have these deals. You just have to know what you are looking for

(Valley Stream area) The guy in the toy dept said most girl's toys are gone. The sale only started this AM. Did most regular Target shoppers know the toys would be going on sale? Thinking of going over there anyway...but probably won't.

They do this every year around this time so I knew that it would happen soon. My friends and I have been taking turns each morning to see if they were marked down yet. Some people at our store said that they have friends or family that work there and called them this morning. I was talking to the manager and he said that they did not know until this morning or they would have had more people scheduled for the registers. Our target was crazy.

The toy markdowns are posted over on the mycoupons.com site so pretty much everyone that reads that board (which is thousands) knows when the toys get marked down. I was a day late unfortunately, since we had DS's bday party last night. I did manage to get a couple things though (that I would probably sell on ebay since I don't need them):

I picked up a couple of remote control BeyBlades 2 for my son for his birthday in April and one for a gift. They were $24.00, I got all three for 19.77 including tax! Three for one--hooray!

I happened to go to target yesterday for other items, and went by the toy department (it wasn't my local target), and got swan lake barbie for under 4.00. I was shocked, and kept looking. Another mom told me about 3 aisles of discounted toys in another part of the store. Well, my mil and I had fun. My 2 1/2 year old was with us, and he was very happy too. I couldn't believe that I fell into the sale. I got my daughter 3 barbie dolls, truck sets for my ds's upcoming birthday, and a few things for him to play with yesterday. I got barbie dolls for birthday gifts and k'nex roller coaster and the ferris wheel for 75% off.

I wanted to go back, but my dh threatened to take away my credit cards. Silly man, they are in my name. He just doesn't understand how you can not pass up a 20.00 toy for under 5.00 and a truck set for 3.75 .

I jsut got 2 of the voice activeated Simba's for $3.24 marked down from 12.99. (they are like the nenopet size). I bought the princess at full price for xmas.
