I guess I forgot to mention that I actually have this item. It is great! My daughter is 7 and she can use it very easily. We have also attached out portable DVD player and that works great too!

No, I don't think you can! I know I wanted to take it out and plug it in right away. Sat in my driveway and watched a movie LOL

We've had that VCP for two years now and it's priceless. I saw a lady with it in her cart yesterday and told her she'd made an awesome decision. If you travel alot this is great for kids in the back seat. We drive to Orlando about 4 times a year and this is a great way to keep my son, who BTW owns his own Blockbuster of Disney movies... ... occupied!

This has really come down in price. I think my sister said she paid over $300 for it back then.

WE have the cooler/fridge that you get for free with it and use it a lot. We plug it in at home or in the room before we fill it and it keeps everything nice and cold. We will even put in a frozen bottle of water just to help the chill process out.

the tv/vcr combo well over 3 years ago when it first came out. We spent $300.00. (yikes) but...
It has been worth every penny. It has taken abuse over the years and heald up well. Kids can be rougher than adults.
Told dh, next tahoe will have a unit built right in lol
