I do not want to get a credit card. But both companies have debit cards. Target offers 5% and I can buy gift cards there. Chase offers 10% at the disney store. Can I buy a gc with that? I'm debating which one to get. Any input would be appreciated.

Also could I use that chase 10% discount buying park tickets at the disney store?

Just get both. They are just debit cards. Target's is linked to your existing checking acct and Chase's requires you to get a chase checking account.

I have a Target debit card but also signed up for the Chase Disney debit yesterday online. Am anxiously awaiting to see if anyone knows if the 10% discount is good on park tickets bought at the Disney store.

Thanks!

You can get a Target debit, no matter the original account bank. It is only good at Target, but comes out of your checking account like a check.

Do it for the 5% off.

You get discounts of some places to eat at disney, Olivias, Trails end...lots of places..so may be worth it..

If you have a chase checking account there is no reason to not get the Disney Debit card. It is no different then your current debit card, expect for the Disney Perks.

There is also no reason you can't get the Target "Red Card" debit card for purchases at Target.

Can I really have both though? I only have one account.

Of course you can. Your Chase Disney debit is good for all purchases everywhere, it replaces your regular debit card. The Target "Red" Debit is only good at Target and my understanding is that it works just like an electronic check.
