How does a Target Red Card help me cut WDW trip costs? I've seen people talk about saving with their cards, but I don't know how they do it. If the deal varies by state, I live in MA.

Thanks.

You receive 5% off your purchases with the redcard (debit or credit). Since Disney GCs are considered "entertainment" cards in Target's system you can purchase those and get the 5% off. You can also combine your pharmacy rewards coupons (not valid in my state, don't know about yours) for an even bigger discount.

Pharmacy rewards are valid in MA- just used mine last weekend with the Red Card to get $550 in Disney gift cards for $498, plus my DD's school gets 1%.

Yes, you can pay it in the store or on-line. I used to go to the customer service desk and then decided to go on-line. If you go on early, you can choose what date to have the payment posted.

Make sure you set up which school you want Target to pay the 1% to. They show how many people have signed up for that school, and what payments have been. Win-win situation. The 5% isn't a huge amount, but it's better than nothing.
