I was there on Saturday and costumes were 30% off.

I'm waiting on some of the cute decorations. My DD wants one of the light up things for her room. Do you think they'l still go to 90% this year?? 7 days after right??

While that is true, there are large groups of families that live in the same general area on these boards and they don't all want to stop by Target each and every day to know when a deal can be had. These threads help alert others to what bargains are going on in their community and helps to alert the rest of us across the country as to what markdowns are heading our way.

Anyone? I know it's usually on a timed thing. next day 50%, 5 days 75% and 7 days 90% correct? ugh if only the search thread worked so well.

At my local Target this morning, employees were consolidating all the Fall/Halloween items in the front corner of the store. Most of the back, where the costumes were displayed, is now being set for Christmas.

I'm wondering if it will go Thur-Sun-Tues for the 50-75-90% markdowns. I've lost track of all the Target deal sites.... it might be (knowing my luck, because I can't go Monday) Thur-Mon-Wed. At any rate, my thinking is that it will be all said and done in a week's time. Thanksgiving is 3 weeks from tomorrow.

I went to the Concord, NH Target yesterday afternoon and it was still 30% off, but not on most decorations.
Think I'll try tomorrow. They had a decent selection. Lots of foam light up pumpkins, costumes (somewhat picked over, as expected).

I usually don't go to Target until holiday things turn at least 75% off (Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter) , but I'll be heading there today to see if I can find any cute Halloween stationary, sprinkles, chips, and cookies (no costumes or candy needed).

Mine use to follow the 3 days at 50% off (after the holiday) and then 3 days at 75% off -- so today through Sat. are 1/2 off, Sun-Mon-Tue- are 75% off, and Wed. begins 90-off.

But from reading others posts, it does seem that many are doing their own thing.

Day after halloween who's shopping now??

been there, done that, $50 later... I'm home!

Just a few things I bought at 50% off:

• storage tubs - 4 in varying sizes (they went QUICK at my Target)
• ceramic pumpkin cookie jar
• Jack O'lantern salad plates. I want the divided, cafeteria tray looking plates, too... but there were a LOT of those left over, and I'm hoping they'll be there at 75% off.
• small metal tin buckets with Jack O'lanterns painted on them
• Play-doh in treat size containers
• My Little Pony ponies in Fall packaging. These were NOT out at my store before today.
• Most of the rest of what I bought was food - goldfish, pretzels, etc. Very little candy.

8 big bags of peanut M&Ms.

They were half off and then I had the $1 off coupons. So, each bag was 39 cents.

Orange and black are the colors for our local high school and can also go for Bears parties. At 39 cents per bag, I'll eat any color of peanut M&Ms. They travel well and give me a tiny hit of protein with my chocolate.

I went in this morning before work. Picked up 3 different princess costumes and a tutu all 50% off for my daughter for Christmas. She'll never know I bought them during the Halloween clearance sale.

I also picked up a Halloween t-shirt for her for next year and the Pumpkin Master pattern kit.

I bought candy, bounty paper towels, cake mixes and kleenex all at 50% off. Got 6 pkgs of M&M using $1 target coupons so they were 39¢ each. I almost bought some plastic food containers but decided I already have plenty.

Just returned and boy was it a madhouse!! Stuff was 50% off and flying off the shelves! They had no outdoor decorations left and no Halloween costumes for anyone over 3 years old. Also no paper towels or bowls or anything like that. I did get some candy, and a shirt and leggings for my daughter for next year.
