I went to Target to check out the cooler and I grabbed the last one off the shelf.
I read the insert instructions and it said it takes approximately 30 minutes to reach it's coolest temperature of 68 degrees. I don't think that is cool enough for soda so I put the cooler back. I didn't even read what the heat temperature gets because I was more interested in the cooling.
It also seemed like an awful large coolersize and weird oval shape for only holding 6 sodas.
But I did find quite a few other items that I will use in the future.
I got two of those childrens bathing suits with the inflatable inserts that were originally $19, marked down to $14.99 and final sale price of $3.49. My grandson is due on Sept. 9th but he already has a bathing suit for him to learn how to swim in. I had one of these suits with a foam insert for my son who is 21 now and a lifeguard. Peggie

Do you remember what brand it was? I couldn't find them....

I think it might be target's brand of cooler. The box simply says "Going Places". Also, as far as the temp goes....I read the insert and it says it reaches a "maximum cooling of 68º BELOW the ambient temperature". Doesn't that mean lower than the surrounding temp?? It says something similiar for how warm it gets as well. While it wouldn't be really useful for quick trips around town, for a long haul, like to WDW, it should be plugged in for plenty of time to keep cool. Also, don't forget, when you stop and refuel, be sure to unplug the unit. It says if you start the car with it plugged in, you could fry the unit!!

We have one of the larger cooler/warmer thingies. We used it at Universal in December for cold cuts, juice, etc. Anyways..we thought it was broken cuz the drinks got quite warm...turns out DH didn't realize it was also a warmer so hadn't changed the setting to "cold"
