Target gift cards

i am curious if anyone knows when/if Target will have a weekend sale for additional incentives when purchasing gift cards in store? I believe last year I saw it occurred in July. I tried searching for an answer from previous posts but was unable to locate any information so I apologize if this was discussed recently.

It's usually either Black Friday or the first week in Dec. I've never seen it in the summer but would be very interested if it happened.
