Anyone finding any good deals at Target? I found some Fancy Feast cat food (at least 9 months ahead of expiration date) marked down to 37 cents. Not the most exciting thing, but I also had a $1 off 15 cans coupon, so I made out well.

I absolutely love the end cap clearance deals. My best "snag" there ever was a BIG fire-proof safe, regularly about $200, for $27.

I had to get a clerk to help lift it into the bottom of the cart, but no way was I passing that up.

Sometimes, even things like diapers and pull-ups can be had for a song. I rarely go up and down the regular aisles anymore - I stalk the End caps. Lol.

Boys (toddler size) pj's
$4.50 for 2 sets of carters short sleeve pj's-cashier ringing them up was really surprised how cheap they were

I used to get fab deals all the time but for a few years now I haven't found any! Years ago got a dustbuster for $7. I know there were other great purchases but I can't remember them right now.
But I've been sad that my store hasn't had any good deals for awhile now. I was even doing merchandising work there last year, so I was there multiple times a week to check the end caps, but found nothing (probably better for my budget, lol).

End Cap shopping used to be my Friday night excitement, but the past few years my local stores have had nothing! It has gradually improved, but there is still very little in terms of budget and clearance.

Does anyone know exactly what Target does with all their clearance stuff these days?

My brother found a PlayStation 4 on the Target clearance endcap for approx $260 earlier this year. He just about fainted. Had price and item checked, all was correct and complete. Bought it and everything was perfect. :teeth:

I used to get great deals, too, but like others have said, I don't find too much these days. My best find was an upholstered bench, the kind that goes at the end of the bed and has a hinged lid for storage. I don't remember the original price but I got it for $15 :) My 15-year-old dd uses it as a hamper and a place to put on her shoes (and a catch-all )

Most of their outside furniture is on clearance now. Hard to believe since it isn't even July left! I guess they are getting ready for back to school.

Our outdoor furniture section is almost completely cleared out. They usually throw up all the back to school stuff right after July 4th. Makes me NUTS! My kids will only have been out of school for about 2 1/2 weeks at that point!

My best clearance find was a king sized duvet cover and sham set for $15 marked down from like $150. We used that set for years and I constantly thought, "I only spent $15 on this!" Haven't found much recently though. Some nice towels a few months ago for $3.50, that's about it.

I see Clearance items actually in the isle rows. Like sheet sets, if they want to get rid of a certain style, I see the clearance sign posted, but it is only 30% off. I think Target is getting smart and wanting their customers to walk down the isles. I noticed really expensive items on the end caps now.

Our kids have ONLY been out a week to the day here in MD. Drives me NUTS TOO.

This used to drive me insane when I lived in Michigan and school doesn't start until September. But here in Mississippi and Louisiana I've noticed school starts a month earlier.

Found an on-line return once that we snapped up. It was a high end kitchen cutlery/ Knife set. Regularly was $150, we paid $20

Keep watching the cat food, it was .24 cents here, hopefully they aren't discontinuing the "special diet" formula!
