I can't find any information about this on the Target website, so I thought I'd ask the experts...;)

I'm Canadian, and I'd like to try to take advantage of the BF deal to get the 20% discount card at Target. But there is no way I'm driving 2 hours to the nearest US Target store on Black Friday. But I could do an online order and get an e-mailed coupon....if only I had a US mailing address. But I wonder if you can order online and have it as a store pickup. Many stores do this, but don't know if Target is one of them...

This is currently being "beta-tested" at many U.S. Target stores -- it's pretty basic, you make the purchase on Target.com and if it's an item routinely stocked in Target stores, they will pull it for you and you can pick it up at the service desk (there will be a 4' tall sign designating Target.com pickup).

Basically, their take on something Walmart hs been doing for several years -- and has pretty much perfected...

At least our store is planning on shutting the instore pickup down for black friday. The items are not shipped to the store but pulled from the shelves and put aside.

I have used the shipped to store a few times it saved me a lot of running around when sometime I ordered was not in stock I simply had a back up target close to home

You will not be able to order online for instore pick up on black Friday. There are several other dates when it will also be unavailable. Closer to Christmas the top selling toys will also be unavailable.

I'm in Canada also and 2 hours away from the nearest US target. I'm fortunate that I plan to ship to my resort, the timing just works. But if it didn't, there are a couple of places on the US side at the border that you can ship to. UPS store is one and another is The Corporate Centre. I'm not sure where you are but perhaps your bordering US towns offer this service as well. They only charge $3-$5 to receive your package depending on the size.
