Target 75% off Xmas 12/30/01!!

Just came back from a target in PA...75% off!! I just saved over $300 Swore we would never get an artifical tree but I couldn't resist a 9ft augusta lighted pine for the price. Was $349.99 and I got it for $87 and some change. Got decorations for the girls tree (they have a princess tree in their playroom), tissue paper, bags, rubbermaid containers - all for around $123 then I hade a giftcard from a present exchange

Now I need to find a pine scent, I will miss that smell but I won't miss watering the tree, dealing with the prickly needles, and then the needles everywhere!!!

Yankee Candle makes a great pine scent ornament, it comes with a vial of scent so you can "rescent" as needed. I bought it this time last year on clearance, we love it.

Milford, CT (at the mall) had tons of items @ 75% off! I was surprised to see so much merchandise.

Did you happen to notice if they marked down the toys yet to 75% off? Between Milford and North Haven I made out like a bandit last year.

I like to get a fresh wreath. (usually at Costco or a local tree lot) They make the house smell so good and Christmasy.

Our target was pretty much cleaned out by the 27th. i went on the 26th and got the last of the lawn figures. Went back the next day for a couple things and nothing was left but about a half dozen trees a few individual ornaments and some wrapping paper.

I didn't know that! I'll be looking for them. I wonder when Yankee Candle's stuff goes on clearance.

I did stop by Target today. I got all kinds of wrap, GC boxes, tags, Pez clip type key chains (polar bear and reindeer). Great stuff. Spent a little less than $20 and saved $56. I love those sales. I haven't paid full price for Christmas wrap in years.

That's when I get my gift wrap-at 90% off. Last year I scored 7 photo keyrings-they must have been found in the stickroom and put out late. They were $2. I made keychains for my mom and girlfriends and put in pics of events our families have shared-they were the BIGGEST hit of the season.
